Tasty Treats

Bunny Bait!

One of my absolute favorite things about being a stay at home mom is being able to celebrate holidays with crafts, adorable themed treats and gifts! When Easter rolled around this year I had a list full of Easter themed treats, crafts and decorating ideas.
But first on my list? Bunny Bait!

What you need:

🐣 8 cups of air popped popcorn

🐣 2 cups of vanilla chocolate chips

🐣 1/4 cup dark chocolate

🐣 1/4 cup candy melt

🐣 2 cups Easter M&M’s

🐣 Parchment paper

🐣 Sprinkles (optional)

*Before adding the dark chocolate and candy melt

What to do:

🐣 Air pop the popcorn. While the popcorn is popping, get the white chocolate bark in a double boiler to melt.

🐣 Add popcorn and M&M’s to large bowl and add melted white chocolate. Mix until popcorn and M&M’s are combined.

🐣 Spread the mixture in a layer on the parchment paper to begin hardening. Now is the time to add some sprinkles if you want them!

🐣 While the mixture hardens, get the dark chocolate and candy melts melted and ready to drizzle.

🐣Once the mixture has hardened, drizzle the chocolate over and allow to harden, I added more sprinkles at this point also.

🐣 Once all the chocolate has hardened, break it into pieces, get it in a bowl and enjoy!

This huge bowl was gone in two days. So delicious. The fun thing about this recipe is it can be altered for any holiday! Change the colors to bright red and blue for Independence Day. Red and green for Christmas. The possibilities are endless. And you can swap out the candy you use. Chop up candy bars, add nuts. It’s so much fun!!
